redbrunja lamented the lack of decent Sakura vids. This is my attempt to fill that gap! My first time working with Naruto footage, and lemme tell you it's much easier to vid than Avatar. Something about the lengthiness of anime fight sequences, they throw in so many pretty shots of the characters' eyes and faces.
However this vid turned out to be kind of a tricky one! I think part of it was to do with the trickiness of the song. Admittedly the vid doesn’t have a whole awful lot to do with the lyrics. However I take refuge in the fact that the lyrics don’t make much sense anyway. And I did something a little different on this vid. Instead of keeping to the lyrics religiously, or giving the vid a specific structure beforehand, like I did with my previous Avatar fight vids, I instead let the sound and the sense of the music be my guide and went from there. Err... not sure if that makes a whole lot of sense, but oh well.
It was also a challenge because the footage I was working with was subtitled. Not a huge problem, since this is a fight vid and we don’t want shots of people talking anyway, but it still got in the way at times. You’ll notice that a few times I did include clips that still have subtitles on them. However these are only instances when Sakura was yelling something particularly badass like “Hell yeah!” or “Eat this!” which I felt was in line with the spirit of the vid.
Edit: DAMMIT. LIVEVIDEO DELETED IT. >:-C Shit.
Edit 2: Okay s'under control. I'm reuploading to Youtube. The irony of this has not escaped me. Then again, YouTube doesn't seem to delete Naruto materials nearly as often as they do Avatar stuff.
